08 Grid & Layout
Introduction
Grid and layout principles help create structure, clarity, and consistency across brand applications. Use this section to understand spacing, composition, and layout systems for digital and print use.

Margins and Columns
To keep our digital and print materials consistent, all Talent IQ digital assets use a standard margin of 35 pixels, while print assets use 3 mm margins. Layouts are built on even-numbered columns (4, 6, 8, 10 or 12), allowing flexible yet balanced designs.
This systematic approach keeps every element aligned and easy to read, while leaving room for our doodles and handwritten accents to play.

Types of Grid Systems
We use three core grid systems: a simple 4-column grid, an 8 × 8 modular grid and a 12 × 10 modular grid, with rows and columns always divisible by 2. Together they provide a robust framework for everything from social posts to web pages and reports.

Flexibility
Our grids flex across every format we use, from social posts and stories to reports and printed playbooks. They give designers the freedom to play with photography, doodles and bold type while keeping each piece consistent and unmistakably Talent IQ.

Applying Our Logo
The wordmark signs off each layout and can sit in any of the four corners: top left, top right, bottom left or bottom right. Choose the corner that keeps it clear of the headline and the focal point of the image. Keep it small, consistent and inside the margins so it builds recognition without competing with the message.

Layout Digital
Designed for digital environments, this layout uses a 1920 × 1080 format with a modular grid to keep web interfaces, presentations, and digital publications clear, flexible, and easy to navigate.
